Jean-Marie Liot's photographs appear in magazines and newspapers worldwide through photo agencies. After a period with Presse Sport, he transferred his entire photo library to the Levallois-Perret agency DPPI in 1998. Building on these years of partnership, Jean-Marie Liot leverages the international distribution of DPPI Media, Getty Images, AFP, and ALeA Production for his clients, thanks to exchanges with agencies around the globe. This ensures his photos receive the widest possible distribution.
In the cruising sector, Jean-Marie Liot photographs new models for Voile Magazine, with which he has worked since issue number 3 in 1996. A regular collaboration has also been established since 1998 with the editorial team of the German magazine Yacht Magazine, to photograph new boats in France.
Since 2015, Jean-Marie Liot has been taking photos of new sailboat trials and technical tests as part of the team at the French sailing magazine Voiles et Voiliers.
Illustrative photos of lighthouses battered by waves and nautical landscapes have been distributed since 2005 by the photo agency Hémis and Getty Images.
