The Famous sailors in ocean racing were gathered around Jacqueline Tabarly in order to support the inscription of the Yole Ronde de Martinique in the heritage of UNESCO. This traditional Martinique sailboat, is today a boat cut to race around the island, but was first of all a traditional fishing boat. Unstable and fast, this boat requires full of nautical qualities, or sailors are also equilibrists! Les Barrés de la Yole including Eric Péron, Gilles Lamiré, Antoine Carpentier, Basile and Yvan Bourgnon, Loïck Peyron, Jean le Cam, Roland Jourdain, Gildas Morvan, Maxile Sorel, Eric Baray, Philippe Berquin, Arnaud Pennarun, found themselves in Martinique from February 6 to 9, 2020 for regattas in the Baie du Diamant.
